PortAventura is a theme park in the holiday resort of Salou, Tarragona, Spain, on the Costa Daurada ("Gold Coast"). It is 1 hour from Barcelona and there is a train station for Port Aventura which has connections to Barcelona and Salou.
PortAventura theme park is one of the largest themeparks in Europe and the biggest resort in the south of Europe. It is made up of the Universal Studios Port Aventura theme park, the Costa Caribe water park, the Hotel El Paso, the Hotel Port Aventura and a Beach Club.
